On a daily basis, humans spend
their days being consumers. Weather they are looking at advertisements,
adjusting their attitudes towards different products, or trying on different
cloths, humans are always drinking in the different brands and their ideals.
However, each brand has a different target audience that they want to reach. In
the advertisement shown, Air France is trying to grab a particular audiences
attention. This target audience is younger, stylish, and higher-end people in
Europe.
A typical day for their target consumer looks like the following:
Frank Russo is a hard working middle-aged businessman. He
works in New York for the stock market, or insurance, or some type of finance
position that demands him to seldom travel. He has a wife and two children who
adore and look up to him, and lives in the suburbs. He has a cat, and prefers that
it keep to himself. His job is important, but traveling away from home is not
what he prefers. He dreads the long flights, with little legroom, and does not
enjoy airplane food. Most of his work deals with 6-10 hour legs of flying.
Franks typical day starts off with waking up to his wife making breakfast and
getting the kids ready for school down stairs at home. The television is
showing the news, and he is making sure that traffic is not horrible before he
leaves for work. He has his leather Burberry brief case and travel bag because
he will be leaving that day to go to Europe. On his way to work, he drives his
Subaru to the subway station, parks, and hops on the subway into the City. In
the subway, he comes across various billboard ads and posters such as Mac
makeup, Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein, and so on. On his wrist, he wears a
Rolex, and in his hand, he is on his iPhone 6, looking up the latest news. At
work, they only handle Apple products. While he works, he drinks Pierre with
lemon, while jazz and classical music plays in the background. If Frank was not
traveling today, then he would hit the gym to work out and update himself on
the current baseball scores. Frank does not watch too much TV. His free time is
spent with his family. Frank lives a busy life, and its hard to find relaxation
in any part of it.
